Colposcopy – having a look at your cervix with a microscope and/or taking biopsies

Smear taking

Vulvoscopy – having a look at your vulva with a microscope and/or taking biopsies

Insertion of intrauterine contraceptive devices such as copper IUCD, Mirena, Jaydess

Removal of intrauterine contraceptive devices

Removal of polyps on your cervix

Pipelle uterine biopsy for abnormal bleeding

Removal of small vulval skin lesions

Insertion of Goserelin or contraceptive implants

Pessary fitting for prolapse or incontinence

Cervix – minor 

-Treatment of cervical pre-cancerous changes                                              with LLETZ or Cone biopsy

-Vulva and vagina – minor

-Removal of non-cancerous vulva, vagina or                                                  cervix lumps

 Abdomen

 -Diagnostic laparoscopy

 -Laparoscopy and treatment of mild-moderate                                             endometriosis – I cannot offer treatment for

   severe endometriosis

 -Laparoscopy and female sterilisation, either with                                          Filshie clips or removal of the fallopian

  tubes

 -Laparoscopy/laparotomy and treatment of                                                   ovarian cysts

 -Laparoscopy/laparotomy and removal of ovaries

 -Laparotomy and myomectomy

 -Hysterectomy – either laparoscopic, vaginal, or                                             abdominal


 Prolapse

 -Anterior vaginal repair

 -Posterior vaginal repair

 -Sacrospinous fixation for prolapse

 -Colpocleisis for prolapse


  Bladder

 -TVT sling and cystoscopy (*not currently due to NZ                                      MoH process)
